Beetroot （甜菜）
There once was a vegetable so red
That grew slowly beside the shed
But unfortunately in its haste
It had such a wonderful taste
It was put in a salad and ended up dead
今天信手写了首英文诗, 是我的处女作. 本诗诗体名Limerick ， 中文翻译五行打油诗, 是英语民间诗歌的一种。
特点通俗幽默，有五行组成，韵式为aabba, 以上首诗为例，a就是“red” ,“shed” ,“dead”; b就是“haste”, “taste”。
本想翻译成中文，翻出来好象不怎么象诗，还是保留着洋味吧，里面的单词大都不是生词。
